🧡 We invite you to Zuzeum children’s art workshops for kids of all ages. The theme of the class and materials change each Sunday at 11:15 AM.

Children’s art is an exciting adventure, a valuable learning experience, and, most importantly, a way to express their feelings and emotions. Creative activities reflect a child’s inner world and help shape it. Our primary goal is to allow children to explore and unleash their creative potential. We offer various themes and materials, with classes in multiple spaces—from exhibition halls to art studios with beautiful and inspiring interiors.

In our classes, children do more than draw. We show them that art can be multifaceted: abstract, realistic, flat, or three-dimensional. Since our sessions are held in an art center, children can engage with exhibitions, learn about local and international artists, and, inspired by the works of professionals, create their masterpieces.

THE NEW SEASON OF WORKSHOPS!
For the fifth year, we welcome the youngest visitors to the Art Centre for Sunday workshops.

📅 March

🟢 16 March, Sunday, 11:15-12:15, lesson for children from 4 to 11 years old
🧑🏼‍🎨 ASSEMBLAGE

In this Sunday’s lesson, children will create compositions or constructions from various collected “found” objects.
🎨 Materials: cardboard, glue, hot glue, polythene bags in different colors, plastic and metal products, newspapers, magazines, and other materials.

🟡 23 March, Sunday, 11:15-12:15, lesson for children from 4 to 11 years old
🧑🏼‍🎨 SCULPTURE

What exactly are sculptures? Sculptures can be made by carving, modeling, or placing materials together. They can be made from stone, wood, clay, or any other material the artist wants.
In this lesson, children will make spring flowers. out of different colours of modeling clay.
🎨 Materials: wire, aluminum foil, air-hardening modeling clay.

🔴 30 March, Sunday, 11:15-12:15, lesson for children from 4 to 11 years old
🧑🏼‍🎨 COPY

The famous Dutch painter Peter Paul Rubens copied some of his favorite Titian paintings. Copying other artists’ work is still one of the main principles of fine art education.
In this Sunday’s lesson, we will copy one of the paintings in the exhibition ourselves.
🎨 Materials: paper, oil crayons, marker pens.

⏳ Each workshop duration is 1 hour.

🎟️ Tickets & information

The ticket is valid for one child and one parent or guardian and includes all materials required for the class. During the class, parents are welcome to visit the Zuzeum Cafe or view our exhibition at no extra charge. Tickets must be purchased online at Zuzeum.com. Event tickets are not refunded or changed, and tickets are limited.

⏳ The duration of the lesson is 1 hour.
🗣️ Language: Latvian / Russian / English

A parent or guardian must accompany children under 13. Please wear suitable clothes, and an extra pair of shoes or socks will be useful.
