Alexey Murashko is a graphic designer and typographer specializing in editorial, identity, and exhibition design. He runs a private practice and is a co-editor and publisher for independent publishing initiatives in Latvia.
A guest tutor at the Latvian Art Academy and the International Summer School of Photography (ISSP), he has delivered public lectures on typography and book design across the Baltics, Ukraine, and the EU. In addition to his design practice, he is an occasional columnist and op-ed contributor, writing about typography, publishing, and socio-political issues in Eastern Europe.
Murashko has collaborated with numerous organizations, including Accenture, the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art, and Rundāle Palace Museum. His work has earned prestigious awards, such as the TDC Certificate of Typographic Excellence, D&AD Wood Pencil, and multiple European Design Awards.
