🎨 We have some really exciting news! Introducing unique silk scarves featuring the scarf sketches of Latvian artists Zenta Logina and her sister Elīza Atāre! 🧣✨
Zenta Logina (1908–1983) was the pioneer of abstractionism in Latvia. In the later years of her creative career, her art underwent a significant transformation from still lifes and landscapes to three-dimensional paintings and abstract tapestries, including numerous sketches for scarves and other textile products.
It is known that some of these sketches were produced for the Soviet mass market, but which ones and in what numbers is not yet known. A number of these sketches are now on display at the exhibition ‘Where to Hide!’ in Zuzeum.
To emphasize a unique part of Latvian art history – the artistic heritage of Zenta Logina, Team Zuzeum, together with the curator of the exhibition, Sandra Krastiņa, chose three textile sketches. These were made in Italy from a 100% silk fabric.
Each scarf is a wearable piece of history, preserving the artist’s vision in an elegant and timeless form. Embrace the fusion of art and fashion!
Available only in the Zuzeum Shop in limited quantities!
